IOSH Managing Safely®️
IOSH Managing Safely® is a globally recognised three-day course developed by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), designed for supervisors, managers, and team leaders responsible for workplace health and safety.
The course covers risk assessment, risk control, legal responsibilities, hazard identification, incident investigation, and performance measurement, equipping learners with the practical skills to manage health and safety effectively.
Suitable for all sectors with no prior knowledge required, it can be studied via classroom, virtual learning, or e-learning (20–25 hours), and is assessed through a 30-question multiple-choice test and a practical risk assessment.
Successful candidates receive an IOSH Managing Safely® certificate, supporting professional development and progression to qualifications such as the NEBOSH General Certificate.
IOSH Managing Safely®️ Refresher
IOSH Managing Safely® Refresher is a one-day course designed for those who have previously completed IOSH Managing Safely® and need to update their knowledge within three years.
It revisits key topics such as risk assessment, leadership, health and safety legislation, performance measurement, and continuous improvement, while reflecting on workplace practices and legislative updates.
Suitable only for existing IOSH Managing Safely® certificate holders, the course can be studied in-house, via virtual classroom, or through e-learning (5–10 hours), and is assessed by a multiple-choice examination.
Successful candidates receive an updated IOSH certificate, supporting continued professional development and progression to qualifications such as the NEBOSH General Certificate.
