Qualification No: 600/2005/2

Course Description

The ProQual Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement is a nationally recognised assessor qualification

designed for individuals who assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in learning environments other than the

This qualification equips candidates with the essential knowledge of assessment principles along with the practical skills

needed to plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality assessment. Learners will build competence in assessing vocational learners using a variety of valid and reliable

assessment methods.

The qualification is Ofqual-regulated, internally assessed, and externally quality-assured, giving candidates the confidence to perform assessor duties professionally across a range of sectors.

Why Choose This Qualification?

  • Flexible Assessment Approach – Assessed through evidence-based portfolio, professional discussions, assignments, and observations.
  • No Exams – Assessment is ongoing and competency-based.
  • Career Progression – Provides a direct pathway to the Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement and Level 4 Internal
  • Quality Assurance qualifications.
  • Applicable Across Sectors – Suitable for FE, private training providers, apprenticeships, and workplace learning settings.
