Course description

Stress affects people at all levels of an organisation — from daily pressures and heavy workloads to emotional strain and burnout. This Stress Awareness course empowers learners to identify the causes and effects of stress and adopt techniques to manage pressure and maintain mental wellbeing in the workplace and personal life.

Unmanaged stress can lead to physical and mental health problems, increased absenteeism, low morale, and reduced productivity. By raising awareness, organisations can reduce stigma, encourage support-seeking behaviour, and create healthier, more resilient working environments.

Developed by mental health and safety specialists at SEITECH International, this course supports staff, line managers, and HR teams to understand stress risks, implement protective factors, and respond to early warning signs effectively.

It aligns with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, and HSE’s Management Standards for Work-Related Stress.
