Course description

Falls from height are one of the leading causes of workplace fatalities and serious injuries. This Working at Heights Awareness course is designed to help employees and employers recognise height-related hazards, understand safe working procedures, and fulfil their legal responsibilities. It covers risk assessments, ladder safety, scaffolding basics, PPE, and control measures to prevent falls or dropped objects.

Whether using ladders, scaffolds, platforms, or working on rooftops or mezzanines, all height-related tasks carry a high degree of risk. Without the right training, workers may underestimate the dangers or misuse equipment. This course provides vital awareness that helps create a safe, informed working environment.

This course, developed by qualified health and safety professionals at SEITECH International, includes real-world examples, visual guidance, and compliance with UK regulations for working at height safety standards across a wide range of industries.

It aligns with the Work at Height Regulations 2005, the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, and supporting guidance from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
